***THIS ARTICLE WAS WRITTEN THE DAY AFTER, RAJA'S OUTSTANDING WIN!!!***

Ok, so what happened yesterday!??  Well, to cut a long story short, Raja absolutely floored the judges, his fans and the public alike with his show stopping rendition of a killer medley of songs that he performed on 'Ustaadon Ka Ustaad' (The Grand Finals!!!)

Unfortunately I was unable to write a review yesterday because after uploading the videos onto youtube, it was 2:15am and I had to get up to go to work this morning at 07:30, so I was waaaayyy to shattered to even attempt to write, let alone think.  But, today is another day and hopefully I can briefly fill you in on what happened...

Well, firstly the drama began when Sajid Khan asked Raja if he was confident that he had made it through to the grand finals, and Raja stated that he was confident and then, Raja smiles discreetly, because he knows that, he has performed phenomenally well but, Sajid toys with his emotions when he tells him, that he had not made it through.  Honestly, just check out the shock in Raja's face, it is hilarious, his jaw looks like it was literally going to hit the ground in disbelief... But, Raja had the last laugh as Sajid let him out of his misery and declared that he actually HAD made it through!!!  His reaction makes me cry with laughter!!!

HAHAHA!!! - I LOVE IT!!!

Now unfortunately because the news that Raja, had already won, had been leaked onto various websites, some people already knew the outcome before the official broadcast, and because of this, I wasn't shocked to see what was happening and to think that Raja actually knew about his victory a month ago when the show was filmed - I just don't know how he kept it soooooo quiet!  I would be screaming from the rooftops!!!

Anyway, swiftly moving on, out of the singers, Raja was the first singer to showcase his magic to the world and boy, did he deliver??!!!....He was GRRRREEEAAAAT, I mean, he belted out such a powerful and soulful voice, which made us all proud and so happy that we are supporting such a special, and god gifted human being and I don't know about you guys, but, after seeing Raja getting totally screwed at Saregamapa 2007, it was a great feeling to see him win something, which I feel that he totally deserved!!!

Raja began weaving his magic with 'Teri Deewani' and then fused it with a superb combination of adlibbing, 'Deewane Ki Nazaro,' 'Saason Ki Mala' - (which is a song that me and my mum LOVE,) 'Bheegi, Bheegi' and then reverting back to a fantastic close with 'Teri Deewani' - Honestly, he ROCKED THE SHOW, in fact, he set the standard and raised the bar sooooo high that the other singers just didn't stand a chance!!!  However, I did see another singer, whom I saw great potential in and who I grew to love and respect and his name is Toshi.  Toshi has that same Rajasthani soul in his voice, but, I think that when it comes down to a singing competition between Raja and Toshi - Raja would win hands down, each and every time.  His voice is just soooo divine and powerful beyond measure...

So, anyway, as the results got declared, I was just sooooo happy for Raja because from someone who could barely afford money to catch the bus and having to walk for three hours to get from point A to point B - to achieving his first major step to success, it made me beam, from ear to ear.  I think that he really deserved the monetary reward and for me personally, it is always a GREAT feeling to watch people who have struggled all of their lives, see major success.  I just love the plan that God has set forth for them... and just as you thought that things couldn't possibly get any better, Raja ended the night by publicly declaring his love for his wife Ayesha in front of the whole wide world, which is something that he had promised, that he would do for her someday...Awwwwww...what a sweetheart...  God Bless him!!!
