Contestant's Choice: (Bramhastra Round!)

(I am so surprised that no one gave Raja a BIG hug at the end of this video, I was almost in tears!)

The 'Bramhastra' was granted to Vishal-Shekhar, who were allowed to select six previously eliminated contestants, (whom they felt deserved, to be brought back into the contest.)  Raja was one of the contestants who they felt was worthy.  They then, left the decision, to the public to decide which two contestants should be brought back into the contest, and trust me Raja did not disappoint with his version of this song!!!  His phenomenal voice, rendered everyone speechless and he was praised to the high skies once again!  I think that the intensity and passion that he sings with, is unparalleled and I feel that the other contestants lacked in this department.  Although, they all sang so amazingly, the divinity that Raja has, is unmatched and inimitable!

We found out later, that Raja and Harpreet (who featured in the 'Bramhastra' round) were actually the two lucky winners, who were brought back into the contest, by popular demand. 

Raja got 31% of the votes and Harpreet got 20%.  (Raja had a massive lead on his margin of votes!!!  WOW!!!)

If you recall, this is also the episode where controversy flared, when it was revealed that (Aneek Dhar and Abhijeet Kosambi) two winners of the regional spin off musical shows were going to be eligible to make a direct entry into the finals!  (I think that this was out of order personally, and I really wish that Ismail had the courage to stick to his guns and oppose this move.)  But, never mind....what is done is done.
