PLEASE PRAY!!!

GOD BLESS RAJA FOREVER

Hiya Everyone,

I have spoken to Raja today, and he stated that his shows went very well in Jeddah, he sounded very hoarse though, and he said that this was due to the continual shows that he has been doing back to back.  Bless him!!!

I was also unaware that our sweetheart, has just come out of hospital, (I don't want to disclose the health problems that he suffered, as I am not sure that he would want those to be broadcast) but, he said that he is fine now.  However, please pray for him to stay in good health!!!

THURSDAY 20TH MAY 2010

RAJA HASAN LAUNCHES A BRAND NEW ALBUM IN COLLABORATION WITH HIS FATHER

KHWAJA PIYA - WHAT DO YOU THINK?

These clips/images are courtesy of Raja's Official Blog - www.kinghasan.com - Thank you!!!

Heavy tears of sadness welled in my eyes, when I heard the promo clip of Raja's latest offering, 'Khwaja Piya' a superb album dedicated to Khwaja Saheb, (to read about Khwaja's Historical/Religious significance/prominence, please click 'here')  I sincerely hope this is the correct information, but, if anyone knows otherwise, please advise.  (I am not a Religious person at all, but, I respect and love all Religions, so, I would not have a clue, but, please feel free to enlighten me, if I am incorrect.)

Track 4 on this promo clip absolutely killed me, the one that starts off with; 'Main bhee tere, dhar par aaya'...My God, It tugged at my heart strings and just made me well up, in fact, each time I hear it, I cry...I think somewhere Raja is subconsciously touching an element of my own personal pain, which I keep private from the outside world.  That is what Raja's strong connection to God, does to people.  I think many times Raja underestimates this special gift from God.  He really doesn't see himself as an amazing figure that moves and inspires, he is actually in real life, a very young and childlike human being, sometimes he can be cheeky, sometimes he can be arrogant, which totally amuses me, but, at the same time, he baffles me.  But, one thing is for sure, he needs to take things a little more seriously and realise that he is actually public property now, which makes him accountable for everything that he says and does to everyone.  I think slowly he is realising that, and if he is ever does anything wrong, I don't mind telling him the truth.  I think when you are in a position where everyone just tells you that you are great just because you are famous, is a bad place to be, you need true friends to tell you the truth and I tell him whatever is on my mind, regardless of the consequences, but, that is what my friends love about me the most, I am honest and straight with them and somewhere in the back of my mind, I think that is also what Raja respects about me too.  God Bless him!!!  He told me that I inspire him greatly beyond words, which made me laugh?  I thought I INSPIRE Raja Hasan, that is hilarious!!!

Anyway, one thing which really surprised me a lot about Raja when I met him last year, was that although he goofed about a lot, there was one thing in his life that was totally sacred for him and that was his love for Allah.  His devotion to God totally threw me off guard, he sat down on the floor in front of me and my mum, less than a foot away, whilst we were cosily sat on his sofa and started chatting in depth, about Religion and various other personal life experiences, with us.  I wasn't totally convinced that I was actually sitting at Raja's house with him and his family, Raja was amazed, because he expected, that us (being from the West) wouldn't know about Religion too much and he was blown away, that my mother knew ten times more than he did about Religion and past Historical figures of greatness etc.  It was mighty funny for me to watch, as I was just enthralled thinking; 'My God, almost two years ago, I was an ardent admirer, watching you on TV and now I am sitting in your house, merrily chatting away to you about Life, God and Music...Wowww.'  It was a mad experience, but, I knew from then on, that if Raja ever released any album, that was to be God inspired, that it would be of EPIC proportions.

It is a pairing of father and son again, but, Raja clarified for me yesterday that, it is mainly a local home released project for his father, as oppose to a solo Raja project.  Obviously we all hope it does well, but, unfortunately it has been released on a very small scale in regards to the Record Company/Banner name that he had chosen for his last stint (with the massive International distributor, Universal Records.)  I have tried to ask a large Music distributor here in London if they will be selling/promoting this CD and they stated that as of yet, they are unsure as it is on a very small production name/scale but, they will get back in touch to see if they can get hold of a copy for me.

...I will keep you all posted...

Until then, please pray that it is a runaway success!!!

NOTHING NEW TO SAY IN REGARDS TO NEWS,  BUT, JUST A HEARTFELT 'THANK YOU'

LET'S HOPE, WISH AND WAIT

With God's good grace, Raja has been extremely busy with a hectic schedule recently, I am not sure if his IPL Rockstar win has contributed to this sudden wave of interest, but, I am sure that it has :0)

Raja has advised that he has no news as yet, but, he has specifically asked me to thank all of his fans and well-wishers (who prayed for him to get better.)  He said that he is in great health now...

I was also curious to know if he had received his stunning new car which he had bagged as part of his IPL win and he stated unfortunately not, they delay these kinds of processes by months, what a pain...But, I stated not to worry, and that 'good things come to those who wait'...To which he laughed and agreed...

...I am sure this is one of many accolades that he will achieve in the years to come...

God Bless him!!!

MONDAY 3RD MAY 2010

A MUST HAVE FOR YOUR MUSIC COLLECTION

USHER RAYMOND - RAYMOND VS RAYMOND

Hiya All,

I have decided that on days that there is no Raja news to report that I will share my thoughts/views on other Artists/music that you should be buying/listening to.  For those of you who are unaware, I LOVE Western Music, artists such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson have shaped up my life.  The Eastern Artists that I admire are mainly artists who are multi talented and world class and my love for Raja is no different, he is an Artist that I see on a world potential scale if he could expand his style and variations to match Western standards in terms of performance/class etc.  I do think that he has a lot to prove in order to achieve this, but, only HE can put the effort into it to make it happen.

Anyway, recently an artist that I have admired for over TEN years Mr Usher Raymond has released a phenomenal album called; 'Raymond VS Raymond' which has hit the International shores in a big way.  It is a great combination of Pop and R & B and puts his life under scrutiny once again as he delves into issues past and present...It is once again a WORLD smash and he proves why he deserves to be one of the biggest selling solo Artists of this decade, so, please be sure to add this album to your music collection and make him even bigger!!!

I have been very fortunate to be able to see many of my favourite artists LIVE in concert, including Usher whom I have seen twice in the last ten years when he rocked the UK with his amazing LIVE performances, he is the second best artist that I have seen in concert (after Michael Jackson who was simply the best and cannot be matched in any way or level.)  I have been lucky enough to see Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Usher Raymond, Justin Timberlake and Alicia Keys to name a few and the one thing that I have closely observed is that in the West, Entertainers take their stage performances a lot more seriously and demand a more professional level of work, than those I have seen in the East.  The only top class Eastern shows I have seen are the Bollywood type shows which they take on International tour anyway, but, it seems that the quality is not of the great potential that it can be.  They settle for half hearted attempts sometimes and it is unfortunate because they can be the greatest if they really wanted to be...I hope that this huge gap gets smaller someday, and the phenomenal Eastern talent, shows what they are really all about!!!

RAJA HASAN THANKS HIS FANS

A TRUE AND WELL DESERVED IPL ROCKSTAR

Hey All,

Please enjoy these sweet, heartfelt words from your hero Mr Raja Hasan Sagar!!!

As you can hear, he is back in his usual spirits again, but, I still think that he needs some rest to help his vocal chords recover and for his mind/body to relax.  Unfortunately, as you know, life and it's responsibilities doesn't always permit this, so, please instead pray that he stays in good health and that gets the success that he deserves in life.

SATURDAY 1ST MAY 2010

RAJA IS SMOKINNNNNN' HOT!!!

WELL DESERVED WIN - RAJA HASAN IS OUR UNDISPUTED IPL ROCKSTAR

So, many people are intrigued to know what I thought of Rajas final performances leading to his grand win at IPL Rockstar.  Well, to be honest I hope this month's webpage explains it all, he was smokinnnnn HOT!!!  I absolutely loved his rendition of 'Tanhayee' in the Grand Finale, it was absolutely incredible!!!  The original song sang by Sonu Nigam for the movie; 'Dil Chahtha Hai' was a regular favourite of mine, and was played on heavy rotation in my car, so, I was a little surprised when Raja chose this song because I didn't expect it.  The emotional element of 'Tanhayee' is incredibly important and it is difficult for any Singer, to convey these in the right manner, so, I was very proud to see Raja's amazing deliverance of it.  He effortlessly moved me, with this heart rendering performance.

I have always made it a point to tell Raja that he should never feel disheartened about the bad things in his life because it is these experiences that have made him into the person that he is today, and if he hadn't experienced these things, he would never be able to sing with such passion and depth to his soul, and I truly believe that.  Raja honestly expresses through his heart and soul, in every song that he sings, and the power of that connection, is evident in the way that his audience receives him.  His God given talent, puts him a 'cut above the rest' and hopefully in the coming years, we shall see him reach greater heights of Superstardom that he truly deserves, until then, we can only wish and hope for the best...But, for now, we shall savour in the glory of his IPL win!!!

WELL DONE RAJA - WOOOOHOOOOO, IT'S TIME TO PARTYYYY!!!

Also, please note that I will be reviewing other performances in the videos section of this website, when time permits.
