RAJA IS READY TO KICK SOME BUTT!!!

Hello Everyone,

I thought I would disclose a few further details about Raja's forthcoming appearance on 'Music Ka Maha Muqqabla', (the broadcast date is Saturday 6th February,) but, keep a lookout for it because it is promised to be an A-W-E-S-O-M-E show!!!

You will be soooooooo glad to know that in addition to singing the killer 'Kangna' in the DJ round, that he will be singing a Ghazal by Mr Ghulam Ali entitled; 'Chupke Chupke.'  It is a nice breath of fresh air to hear him sing something totally different from the Western and Pop Sound that we have been hearing as of late, on the show.

And here is the killer song; 'Kangna' as was originally performed by Raja in; 'Ek Se Badhkar Ek.'

...I will not disclose anything further than this, except (as far as I have been made aware, some controversy kicks off, involving Raja.)

I am not sure if it will be edited/modified, but, be sure to watch it either way to see what you think.

Also, I just want to thank everyone who wished me; 'Happy Birthday' via text/emails/this website etc.  I had a fab time last night with a handful of my friends!!!

RAJA IS IN THE MOOD TO CHAT

Hi Everyone,

After the much well praised 'Layi Vi Na Gayee' from the movie 'Chalte Chalte' Raja had a very lengthy chat to me about the forthcoming episode...He disclosed what his forthcoming songs are but, I cannot yet disclose this as it is too far before the broadcast date, but, please be patient and all will be revealed in the coming days.  I will tell you what he had said about the show, after the broadcast takes place.

I will give you a clue though, ONE of the songs he sings, is one that he has sang in a previous song contest.

Please watch the show this weekend, as it is bound to be a GREAT show!!!

Also, please be aware, due to being too busy, I will post vids and reviews of this show, when time permits.

Oh my God...Raja sang a song for this episode, that I had personally requested him to sing a few weeks back... 'Layi Vi Na Gayee'' from the movie: 'Chalte Chalte'  and he received 10/10 from all Judges....Wowwwwww!!!!

I will comment on this performance later today or tomorrow, as I am very busy at the moment creating Raja related publicity/promotion to drop off around the United Kingdom, in various parts of the Country...

TWO KINGS GRACE THE STAGE AT ONE TIME

For those of you who are not aware, on the 23rd January 2010, Himesh's team will be up against Shreya's team and to join them will be a Legendary Actor, Mr Shah Rukh Khan and Director Karan Johar who will be promoting their movie; 'My Name Is Khan.'  As you can see from the clip below, courtesy of Vijay-Ji at www.kinghasan.com, one King is holding hands with another King!!!  It is a beautiful moment to see Shah Rukh and Raja back together again, this is actually their third meeting...First at Saregamapa 2007, Raja met and sang 'Chaiyya, Chaiyya' in tribute to him, then Raja performed at the Zee Carnival in Singapore back in 2008 with Shah Rukh Khan joining him on stage and now this time, on one of hottest music shows of the moment; 'Music Ka Maha Muqqabla.'  It is a great opportunity to see Raja getting some major exposure once again!!!

Let's pray that one day, Raja's dream comes true of singing playback vocals to Mr Shah Rukh Khan, God can you imagine, how amazing that would be?!!!

It appears that from the clip below, that the contestants are required to sing Shah Rukh Khan movie inspired songs, so, let's see what happens, but, whatever does happen, I am sure that it is promised to be a treat of all sorts!!!

Be sure to catch it, it is definitely ONE that is NOT to be missed!!!

Ok, so I must admit that when I had found out a week ago that Raja would be singing 'Paisa' from the movie; 'De Dana Dan', I was a little sceptical because I didn't think that it would showcase the great vocal capability that Raja has to offer and after watching this performance, I think that I was correct.  This song wasn't sang with the phenomenal party atmosphere, that the original has.  Between Raja and Toshi I believe that Raja always has the upper hand because his voice is a lot stronger than most Singers, but, as a general song selection, I didn't feel that this song was the best choice for him. This is just my personal opinion, but, I do think that Raja could have done a lot better, my mother also said that Raja had sang the lyrics incorrectly in one part, I am not sure of this, but, if this is the case, he really needs to step up his game.

The music industry is a tough industry and Raja needs to be a lot more focused if he wants to succeed in the long run.  Raja gained 0.5 points more than Toshi, but, this is cutting it too fine, he needs to be more careful about the song choices that he makes and it is only then, that he can climb up higher, on the ladder of success.

Raja has not got any consistency at the moment, each week his marks and performances are up and down, and until he can bridge that gap, he will always have an unstable career.  Of course, our prayers etc are always with him, but, he needs to improve the things that are within his own limits, 50% of his own success is in his own hands and I don't think that he realises that sometimes.

Since this last show, Raja has become a father for the second time, so, maybe his feelings/emotions will be a lot greater for the forthcoming show, I guess we will just have to wait and see...

In the meantime, please vote for Raja!!!

A FANS PERSPECTIVE

Recently, you must have heard through Raja's Official blog: www.kinghasan.com that Raja recently recorded an item song for the movie; 'Bhavnao Ko Samjho' with Pop princess Sunidhi Chauhan, it is an awesome little number...Check it out below...

I wanted to also comment on something interesting that I read on his official blog, a fan had commented on how Raja should try and avoid doing small stage shows/concerts to preserve his voice, but, I just wanted to clarify something.  Raja is very much still a struggling Singer in Mumbai and even though we may see him on our screens etc, it is not enough for him to gain the exposure and financial income that is required to live a care free life, so, the small concerts act as another source of income to assist him and his growing family.  Also, it is another way of his fans to experience him up close and personal, which is a very special experience for them.

...I do believe that eventually these should take a back burner as more professional work comes in, but, for now, they are a necessity to get by...

So, until his dreams of being a Singing Superstar are fulfilled, he has to do whatever is required to make it through.

Just to make you aware, I will write my own personal review, when I have seen Raja's performance in this week's show.  Also, please don't worry, the video section for 'Music Ka Maha Muqqabla' will get updated when I feel a little bit better and have the time/effort to write the reviews of each performance.

RAJA SHARES HIS HAPPINESS WITH THOSE NEAR AND DEAR TO HIM

HOW SWEET OF HIM

The first thing that Raja did after informing his family of the birth of his child was to share it with those who are most nearest and dearest to him - his friends and his fans :0)  I thought it was very admirable of him, I spoke to him to congratulate him today and he was absolutely ecstatic, just simply over the moon about it.  He had not had a wink of sleep all night though, the excitement of the child kept him buzzing on cloud 9, bless him...  He excitedly emailed me some pics of his son straight after the birth, but, because I hadn't asked if it was okay to post them online, I will not be posting them here, out of respect for his privacy and personal space.  I can say though, that he looks like a mini Raja, very fair skinned and sweet.

Raja had also stated that he is in the forthcoming episode of 'Music Ka Maha Muqqabla' - I won't disclose what happens etc because it spoils the fun and can affect the ratings, so, please be sure to catch it to see what happens!!!

I would like to take this opportunity to say 'Happy New Year' to you all and I hope that this year marks a year of change as we attempt to be better people, more successful, to have bigger dreams and learn to love everyone equally...

...I said to Raja that hopefully the birth of his baby boy will bring him much luck and fortune in his life...

...I am sure that Allah has planned great things for Raja - With loyal fans and true support from those that care about him, he can never fail...

RAJA HASAN BECOMES A FATHER FOR THE SECOND TIME!!!

For those of you who wouldn't be aware of this, Raja Hasan has become a father for the second time today.  He is the proud father of a baby boy.  I had told him when I was at his house that I had a feeling that he would have a baby boy, Raja and Ayesha didn't want to know the sex of the baby until the birth and I know that Raja really wanted to have a boy, so congratulations to him for this wonderful moment in his life, let's hope that 2010 brings him much deserved love, happiness and success...

As far as I am aware, he has called his son Adil...Awww!!!
